Phase Three of the sponsorship plan calls for a detailed analysis and
review of the leverage plan’s execution. This analysis will establish
whether the leverage activities have reached the objectives established during the Phase One of the engagement. Several metric and benchmarks will be reviewed including the “return of investment”.
A successful leverage program is not complete unless its results are shared with the key groups within the company and in some cases with strategic partners.
Following completion of the leverage plan’s execution, it is vital to organize presentation meetings where the evaluation is shared with the personnel
who were involved with the program as well as those who were not directly involved with it. In the end to succeed a sponsorship program will need not only to show solid results but to have strong company support.
